Glyphs for Chakra Series: Root Chakra

Chakras are very important part of the energy body. The major chakras not only control and energize the vital organs of the body but also control and affect a person’s psychological and spiritual conditions.

Knowing more about what each chakra does we can use glyphs more effectively and get faster results.

If you look at the Appendix B in the back of Unlocking the Power of Glyphs book by Dr Jean Logan (and all of her other glyph books) – there is a diagram of Locating the Chakras – you will see that not only there are more than the 7 chakras but also some of the chakras are in the back of the body as well.

Let’s start with the Glyphs for Base of the Spine or Root Chakra.

Root chakra controls and energizes the whole physical body:

  • Muscular system – muscles, tissues of the body, physical heart since heart is a muscle.
  • Skeletal System – bones, spine, bone marrow and blood
  • Body heat and vitality

Imbalanced Root chakra may cause

  • Arthritis, rheumatism
  • Spinal problems
  • Blood disorders
  • Allergies
  • Physical weakness & low vitality
  • Weak legs and arms
  • Brain and sexual problems
  • Sleep issues especially insomnia
  • Depression
  • Job or Financial difficulties

Each major chakra has one or more sub-chakras that are called Minor chakras.

The Root chakra has many minor chakras in the arms and legs:

  • Arm minor chakras are – hand, elbow and armpit minor chakras.
  • Leg minor chakras are – soles of the feet, knee and hip minor chakras.
  • Tips of fingers and toes have mini chakras.

When we move our bodies – walking, running and all kinds of exercises start to activate arms and legs minor chakras, that in turn activate and energize the Root chakra.

When we are barefoot and ground we receive earth energy through soles of the feet minor chakras that further helps to make Root chakra stronger.

Depletion of nutrients like vitamins & minerals deficiency can cause Root chakra become weak. So if someone has any or many of the above symptoms then we need to support energetically and physically both. In my experience the nutrient deficient and weak physical body will not hold or sustain the energy given to the root chakra. So eating nutrient dense food, appropriate nutritional supplements, exercise, fresh air, and sunlight are all important and necessary for the body to mend physical ailments and be healthy.

Only using glyphs without taking care of physical needs might give only a temporary or no relief depending on the physical condition of the person. If someone is very sick then starting with balancing energy while also taking care of nutrition will be a good start until the person is physically strong enough to also start adding some movement or exercise.
