Chakras are very important part of the energy body. The major chakras not only control and energize the vital organs of the body but also control and affect a person’s psychological and spiritual conditions.

Knowing more about what each chakra does we can use glyphs more effectively and get faster results.

If you look at the Appendix B in the back of Unlocking the Power of Glyphs book by Dr Jean Logan (and all of her other glyph books) – there is a diagram of Locating the Chakras – you will see that not only there are more than the 7 chakras but also some of the chakras are in the back of the body as well.

Let’s look at the Throat Chakra.
it is located at the center of the throat.

Throat chakra controls and energizes:

• Throat
• Thyroid gland
• Parathyroid glands
• Larynx (voice box)
• Trachea (air tube)
• Esophagus (food pipe)
• Carotid arteries
• Lymphatic system

Imbalanced Throat chakra may cause

• Thyroid issues (hypothyroid or hyperthyroid)
• Parathyroid issues (hypoparathyroid or hyperparathyroid)
• Goiter
• Sore throat
• Loss of voice (laryngitis)
• Mouth and Dental issues
• Asthma

Each major chakra has one or more sub-chakras that are called Minor chakras.

The Throat chakra has many minor chakras:

• Secondary throat chakra (at the hollow of the base of throat)
• Jaw minor chakras (left & right)
• Ear minor chakras (left & right)

More about Throat Chakra :

• Throat chakra is more connected with the concrete mind, left brain thinking (whereas Third Eye chakra is more connected with the Abstract mind, right brain thinking).
• Throat chakra helps us interpret the meaning while listening to someone speak
• Throat chakra energy is needed to work on details like accounting, studying, doing some creative work or project. So if throat chakra is depleted one can experience hard to focus on details or block in creating something new.
• If someone has overactive Throat chakra their mind can become over-meticulous that could lead to nitpicking and criticizing if their Heart chakra is not open.
• Creative people have strong throat chakra.
• Humming, singing or chanting has a healing effect on Throat chakra.
• Throat chakra is directly connected with Sacral chakra, so both chakras affect each other.
